CSR to Develop Dignified Communities

The presence of the oil and gas industry in an area must have a positive impact on the surrounding community. The benefits of the upstream oil and gas industry can manifest in the surrounding community through the implementation of corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs. The company’s responsibility must touch all aspects of the life of the community around the work area: economic, social, cultural, and environmental.

For this reason, KKKS has carried out various CSR activities, not only about infrastructure but also moving the regional economy and empower the community, improving people’s standard of living around the operational area.

Throughout 2020, the value of the upstream oil and gas sector community development program nationally reached US$ 14,376 million or around Rp. 202 billion; with a total of 638 programs/activities.
