An Introduction Into The Geology of Indonesia

We are honored to announce that an important geology book titled, “An Introduction into The Geology of Indonesia” has been compiled and ready to be presented to INDONESIA and the world.
The book is a historic work that guides us to a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of Indonesia’s geology. The book is the brainchild of Indonesia’s son, whose spirit, character, and perseverance render idealistic image of a scientist, whose love to his country is deep and true, whose dedication to spreading the knowledge make us proud to call him our teacher. namely Prof. Dr. R.P. Koesoemadinata.

It consists of 2 volumes and already published officially in July 2020.
It will complete the treasury of knowledge about Indonesia’s geology, which for more than 70 years in the National Library there was only one book written by a researcher with Dutch nationality, R. V. Bemmelen in 1949. Hopefully, the publication of this book will provide encouragement and inspiration for scientists and especially the young geoscientists of this country to be able to produce great works in their fields for the benefit and dignity of the Indonesian nation amid the development of world science.
