Natural Gas, the Clean Energy of the Future

Natural gas is a vital component of the world’s energy supply. But unlike other fossil fuels, natural gas is one of the cleanest (with the lowest carbon intensity), safest and most useful of all energy sources.

To achieve the 2030 oil and gas production target in tandem with the carbon emission reduction target, it is necessary to increase the production and exploration of natural gas. To support better utilization of natural gas, the government has implemented a conversion program from diesel power plants to natural gas ones in 52 regions throughout Indonesia.
